Body Changes Part 1

My next blog is going to describe in detail the changes that I have seen in my body over the past 35 weeks. I was about to finish it and post it and then thought of the old saying, "a picture tells a thousand words" and decided to post this:

No... this is not a still shot from Shallow Hal, this is a picture of my ankles (or lack thereof, otherwise known as cankles) after an event last week. So sexy!

  1. Ugh! Got the same problem here. With my first child I was so swollen for the last 6 weeks that the nurse at my OB's office told me that I easily had 7 pounds of fluid just in my feet! Hang in there :)

  2. I found your blog from Sarah Ely's Class of 2008 blog. I too had the swelling after my twins were born (one with Down syndrome and one typical) BUT my swelling did not come until the WEEKS and MONTHS after they were born when my body was redistributing everything!! Sheesh!! Hang in there, you are in the final stretch now. I made it to 36 weeks.
